From museums, to cultural associations – this category is right for all submissions focussing on the topic of culture.
E-Commerce
TYPO3 solutions featuring integrations with shop systems such as Magento, Shopware, etc.
Enterprise
Enterprises, corporations, and multinational businesses operating on at least two continents.
Finance & Insurance
Digital solutions for banking, finance, and insurance services.
Government & Public Sector
Websites designed for governmental entities and the public sector.
Healthcare
Platforms delivering healthcare information and medical services.
Higher Education
Websites for the higher education sector, including universities and research centers or projects.
Industry & Manufacturing
Projects for manufacturing goods, production processes and product development.
Intranets & Extranets
Internal or external platforms (these require a screencast or showing of up to 30 minutes).

Projects that honor long-standing customer relationships and initiatives exceeding 7 years.

Best TYPO3 Extension
TYPO3 Extensions are enabling TYPO3 to be extended far beyond the core features and often developed and maintained by a singular person. We want to honor all of this outstanding work by letting the TYPO3 Community choose the Best TYPO3 Extension of 2025.
Best TYPO3 Camp
TYPO3 Camps are the heart and soul of TYPO3 and are enabling newbies and professionals alike to share knowledge and build the basis of our vibrant ecosystem. We want to honor all of the work that goes into creating these experiences all throughout Europe by letting the TYPO3 Community choose the Best TYPO3 Camp of 2025.

Which projects can be submitted?
There are a few eligibility criteria* that you will need to adhere to. The project must:
- Run a supported TYPO3 CMS version (except category Legacy & Heritage)
- Be publicly accessible (with the exception of intranets)
- Be presented via screencast or showing of maximum 30 minutes (intranets)
- Have the owner’s agreement for submission
*No more than two submissions per company are permitted per category.
What does the evaluation process look like?
First round of evaluation
In order to enable a personal, in-depth analysis of all submissions, the first round of evaluation will be executed internally at TYPO3 Company. Thereby, we guarantee that each and every entry gets evaluated with a focus on the following criteria:
- Speed and Performance
- Design and UX
- Content and User Flows
- SEO Performance
- Accessibility
All entries will be judged through the lens of backend, core and frontend developers, graphic designers, project managers, communication experts and under security aspects.
The result of this first internal evaluation process will be the shortlist of the top 3 nominees, which will be published on 1st October 2025.
Second round of evaluation
Based on the shortlist, the TYPO3 Award 2025 winners are then determined through a comprehensive evaluation process by a jury composed of a rotating panel of digital industry specialists. These jurors bring a wealth of expertise in business, marketing, and technical fields, ensuring that their judgments are both informed and objective.
Beyond the technical aspects, the 'human factor'—the jury's professional insight and experience—also plays a crucial role, allowing for a nuanced judgment that ensures winners excel not only in technical quality but also in creativity and overall excellence.
The winners of the TYPO3 Awards 2025 will be announced on the TYPO3 Award Gala on Thursday, 27th November 2025.
