Joost de Valk is a Dutch internet entrepreneur and founder of Yoast. He and his wife, Marieke, co-founded Yoast, which they sold in 2021. Through their company Emilia Capital, they invest in digital and open source-focused businesses, including companies like PatchStack and Atarim, and develop projects like Progress Planner. Joost lives in Wijchen, the Netherlands, coaches youth soccer, and enjoys family time and travel, especially to Tuscany.
