The Digital Workspace of Tomorrow Or: Why TYPO3 is far more than “just” a CMS
In 2023, punkt.de and FEGIME met for the first time. The goal was clear: replace FEGIME’s central extranet with a future-proof platform.
At punkt.de, we’ve built complex portals for many years – for clients like Eurobaustoff, rehaVital, and Deutsche Post – often with TYPO3 at the core. But as always, we approached this project with an open mind.
We explored several options: a fully custom solution based on frameworks, a shop-centric approach – and ultimately, we chose TYPO3. A decision we’ve rarely regretted :wink:
In our talk, we’ll walk you through a project that grew iteratively, faced shifting goals, and presented a wide range of exciting challenges. TYPO3 proved to be much more than a content management system – it became the stable backbone of a platform where managing content was just one part of the puzzle.
